Dr. Agunanne’s areas of interest/practice include invasive and non-invasive cardiology, general cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, Preventive Cardiology and Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiology.
Dr. Agunanne received his M.B.B.S. (MD) from the University Of Nigeria College Of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine from State University of New York Downstate Affiliate Hospital, New York.
Dr. Agunanne continued his education by receiving his Masters of Public Health (MPH) from Walden University School of Public Health in Minnesota, where he graduated with highest GPA of 4 out of 4.
He then proceeded to complete a fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure/Heart Transplant Cardiology at Texas Heart Institute in St Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston and did his Cardiology Fellowship at Texas Tech University. Earlier in his career, he had done OB/GYN residency training in Kwazulu Natal Hospitals in South Africa.
Dr. Enoch Agunanne has received numerous Honors/Awards, including a Seed Grant Research Award by the America Medical Association (AMA) Foundation, 2014. His extra-curricular activities include Theology, Philanthropic/Charitable community activities, Community development.
