Leapfrog Group Names Lovelace Hospitals to Best Hospitals for Billing Ethics List

Lovelace Medical Center, Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center, Lovelace Women’s Hospital, Lovelace Westside Hospital and Lovelace Regional Hospital have been named as The 2022 Best Hospitals and Surgery Centers for Billing Ethics by Money and the Leapfrog Group. These Lovelace hospitals comprise five of the six facilities in New Mexico to make the list, which includes 565 hospitals and 10 surgical centers nationally.

Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center Earns 2022 Leapfrog Top Hospital Award for Outstanding Quality and Safety

Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center (HHNM) was named a Top Teaching Hospital nationally by The Leapfrog Group and is the only hospital in New Mexico to earn this distinction. This is the third consecutive “Top Teaching Hospital” designation for HHNM, highlighting its nationally recognized achievements in patient safety and quality.

The Top Hospital designation is bestowed by The Leapfrog Group, a national watchdog organization of employers and other purchasers recognized as the toughest standard-setters for health care safety and quality.

Teach the little ones in your life how to prevent the flu and Covid too

Ms. Socorro Peña’s Spanish/English dual language kindergarten class at Painted Sky Elementary in Albuquerque, NM, learned the importance of washing hands to prevent the flu. Our 13th annual Don't Bug Me campaign teaches school-aged children the importance of staying clean and washing their hands frequently in order to avoid getting the flu bug and COVID-19.
